Shiloh, the site of the Tabernacle and the first capital of the Israelite Kingdom, is one of the most important heritage sites in Israel, with a history of 3,000 years. Shiloh was home to the Tabernacle for 369 years.

The layers of the different historical periods present the story of the region and its people.  Here, the biblical stories of its original inhabitants – Samuel the prophet, Hanna and her famous prayer for a child, the 15th of Av celebrations in the vineyards and more come back to life.

The site offers archaeological tours, a unique light and sound experience, crafting workshops, archaeological digs in season and many more exciting activities.

During your visit explore the Seer’s Tower observation site with its amazing Light & Sound presentation, a captivating show that vividly reenacts life in the days of the Tabernacle in Shiloh using innovative multimedia technology, projected on a glass wall to perfectly synchronize with the landscape and the sites of the stories.

Our interactive exhibit uses advanced technology to illustrate the tabernacle and its equipment. Come to see the tabernacle dismantled and rebuilt, 3D models of the tabernacle vessels floating in the air, and the narrative of the tabernacle's wanderings in the Sinai desert to its establishment as a temple in Jerusalem.
